Waiwhakaiho River - A super low volume run that can only really be run in high water. Fast moving and full of miss on the fly holes that can be pretty sticky at flows where paddling is enjoyable. You want to be pretty comfortable running Class III/IV at high speed on the fly for this run
Upper
Kai Auahi Stream - A fun, fast option when there is a good amount of water in the river. It is a narrow river bed, with a decent amount of gradient. A good run for moving into the more challenging Class IV runs in Taranaki.
