I think it was John Grace who once said "It's all just training for British Columbia". He was referring to the super challenging creeking and multi day wilderness whitewater trips that are located all over this mountainous province. There is a lifetime worth of easy and intermediate paddling too. Whether it is multi day ocean trips, winter whitewater paddling on Vancouver Island, surfing tidal rapids, creeking in the interior, remote trips up north BC offers it all and then some.

Whitewater Kayak Trips or Routes

Alpine Browns
Browns River - The top most section of the Browns river. A 5km section with road access which at the moment has a gate at the bottom of the road. Put in and scout the first rapid shortly downstream. There are 2 small drops below this down to the double drop. Scout on river left. Two more quick rapids lead to the 20ft waterfall. Eddy out and scout on river right. Below the waterfall it is pretty busy for 600 or so meters. some read and run for another 400m down to another double drop. Scout on river left. Below this it's a bit bony at lower flows. the last km and a bit is a bit easier and take out upstream of the bridge.
Lower Trent River
Trent River - Class 3 run with a scenic hike in or a portage around a 50 ft waterfall (yes, the Falls are runnable). The rest of the canyon has some fun rapids and beautiful scenic canyon walls.
Puntledge River - The Upper Puntledge consists of 8 slides, one of which has two waterfalls.
