I think it was John Grace who once said "It's all just training for British Columbia". He was referring to the super challenging creeking and multi day wilderness whitewater trips that are located all over this mountainous province. There is a lifetime worth of easy and intermediate paddling too. Whether it is multi day ocean trips, winter whitewater paddling on Vancouver Island, surfing tidal rapids, creeking in the interior, remote trips up north BC offers it all and then some.

Whitewater Kayak Trips or Routes

Carcross

Tutshi River
Tutshi River - This shallow, rocky fast river can be a lot of fun and also intimidating at the same time. All harder drops and rapids can be scouted and walked if you are not feeling up to it. From the Sieve Rapid (last big drop) down to Tutshi Lake is a great class II run for people just getting into whitewater.
Long Day Run (recommended overnight)
Homan River - A fun section that only takes a day to paddle that is mostly class III read & run with a class V canyon and class IV canyon (both easy to hike around). Logistics: Either fly in to Homen Lake (recommend Alpine Aviation in Whitehorse) or take the Whitepass train in and hike up (~12hrs of bush wacking). Either set a power boat shuttle or take the train back to Fraser or Carcross. Trip can be done in a day, but would recommend planning to camp at the top or bottom. Good camping close to the last class IV canyon (nicknamed Moose Knuckle), which is easy to knock off a couple of laps on.
