Tongariro River
- One of the must do runs in the North Island. Great longer bolder style rapids. Lots of fun play waves and holes. Catch the release twice a year. Or wait for rain. This run is on the easy side of Grade 4 and is a great step up from Grade 3, for those looking to push the grade.

- Really neat class two trip, a good chance to see whio. Getting in at Red Hut, makes a great first time white water trip, and a nice MTN bike shuttle
