I think it was John Grace who once said "It's all just training for British Columbia". He was referring to the super challenging creeking and multi day wilderness whitewater trips that are located all over this mountainous province. There is a lifetime worth of easy and intermediate paddling too. Whether it is multi day ocean trips, winter whitewater paddling on Vancouver Island, surfing tidal rapids, creeking in the interior, remote trips up north BC offers it all and then some.

Raft Trips or Routes

Sparwood to Hozmer
Elk River - Simple Section with some eddies to play with. Most features are at the put in, and its an excellent location for beginners or the daring squirt boat! Nice lunch spot on river right at waterfall.
Hozmer to Fernie
Elk River - Easy run, however there is log jams and trees are know to fall across the river around the corners and bends. One play wave, sort of if its in and was until the 2013 floods but its coming back. Just watch for wood, and if in doubt it can be walked.
Bull River - This is a hidden gem, almost didn't want to put on the guide!! The camping is great and the river absolutely beautiful. This run consists on three short canyon two of which are class 4. The section reminds me of paddling on the West Coast in New Zealand!
