Where to Pack Raft near Richmond

Jock River - This is a great paddle route from Terry Carisse Park off of Steeple Hill Crescent down to the Richmond Conservation Area off of McBean Street. Terry Carisse Park has free parking available in the parking lot, and a wooden dock is installed in the late spring which can be used as a boat launch. Alternatively, there is a path to the river's edge at the northwest corner of the playground through the tree which can be used. The trees along the banks of the river provide shelter from the wind but not from the sun, so plan accordingly.
