I think it was John Grace who once said "It's all just training for British Columbia". He was referring to the super challenging creeking and multi day wilderness whitewater trips that are located all over this mountainous province. There is a lifetime worth of easy and intermediate paddling too. Whether it is multi day ocean trips, winter whitewater paddling on Vancouver Island, surfing tidal rapids, creeking in the interior, remote trips up north BC offers it all and then some.

Pemberton

Silt Lake to Keyhole Falls
Lillooet River - Starting from Silt Lake, below the Lillooet Icefield, this section of the Lillooet is a stunning wilderness trip, either accessed by float plane (hard shell boats or a raft) or a long, difficult off trail hike (packraft). This is an amazing packrafting trip, provided you have solid bushwhacking and navigation skills as the 14km hike in is choken in alder and can be difficult to find your way through.
Hot Springs to Lillooet
Meager Creek - Once accessible by car, Meager Creek hot springs were cut off by a landslide in 2010. The same landslide also reshaped the river, creating a challenging, continuous backcountry Class IV run for advanced packrafters and kayakers willing to haul boats.

Pemberton

Upper/Altheney Pass
Salal Creek - Fun & steep low volume creek in a stunning alpine setting. Best done as an overnight packrafting trip or a long weekend with an extra day hiking up into Altheney Pass.
