Where to Crossover Kayak in Dawsonville

Amicalola River - A long day with easy rapids. A great way to introduce folks to the activity. The only major rapid is the first after putting on and is easily walked on the left if the triple boof line on center left or double slide line on far right don’t look enticing. A few more fun rapids, though nothing intimidating at typical flows. So why go here? Great water quality, easy access, and scenery that can’t be beat for its close-to-the-city location.
