Burleigh Falls
Trent River Burleigh Falls - Good for practicing class 2 rapids and a decent drop with no consequences in summer. You can either paddle the main falls, or hit the side channel which has a pinning hazard against the rock wall at the washout. In high water, the whole section is significantly different and gets pretty beefy when all the dam gates are open.

Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers

KWP is a recreational whitewater paddling club affiliated with Whitewater Ontario. Whether you are a kayaker or open boater, our club gladly accepts new members. KWP members come from all over Ontario and Quebec sharing a love of whitewater paddling. Our membership has a wide range of experience, from novice to advanced, and we offer many club events during the paddling season for all skill levels. We have fun on the river and make safety our first priority. Some of the rivers we paddle include the Marmora area Hwy 7 runs, Madawaska, Magnetawan, Gull, Ottawa, Gatineau, Kipawa and more.
