Big Eddy
Petawawa River - A gentle, scenic float, ideal for a mellow summer day, kids, or those learning whitewater. In high water this can also be a warm up for the Town Section as it continues into Railroad Rapid.

Oiseau Rock
Ottawa River - Oiseau Rock (Bird Rock) is a sheer cliff of granite, about 150 m high, situated on the Quebec shore of the Ottawa River at the bottom of the Deep River Plan at least a one-day trip from the various put-ins and a two-day or longer trip, with camping on one of the many beaches along the river. How to get there No roads lead to Oiseau Rock so all access is by water. Road maps will show you where the various towns are situated and the launching points are all to be found in the downtown sections of town. Obtain a topo map or river charts to plan your trip.
Squirrel Rapids to Canyon
Barron River - Paddle up river and back. Involves one 450m portage each way; the terrain is rocky and uneven, and not suitable for a kayak cart. The Canyon is absolutely stunning.
