Where to Canoe in Athelstan

Chateauguay - This is a nice easy continuous section that runs in the spring (and rarely after a big rainfall). The first noticeable rapid with more drop has some dangerous debris under water (at the level of an old concrete structure on the left shore); be careful not to flip there at low water. After that, it is a fun class 2 and 2+ continuous section for 4-5km. Pay attention to trees close to shores. There is a short flat section at the end.
