we lucked out I guess. The rapid didnt seem like a "cat in a washing machine". We compared it more to a "kitten in a tub"

Saw nothing here that was "threading" like. lots of room to get between rocks. Rocks may be on angle to river not perpendicular to the shore like book suggests. Run middle of river you will be fine

This waypoint is exactly where the log jam is. Descriptionin book is accurate your nose will scrape shore your other end will be skimming hole

This is more of a stretch. Book is accurate in you dont notice the holes until right on top when you see the rock wall you just know there is a hole in the middle of river 50-100 feet in front of that 2nd wall

Dried creek bed that used to be the pullout ( and still can be). Water would still have to be super high to get in there though I woudn't count on it. call Pat Pellet (sat Phone) 254 381 3030 to arrange for pick up to take you and your gear to the airstrip and take a bunch of stress off your trip
