Paddling on the Yellow River

Yellow River - At low water, some fun slaloming can be had. At medium flows and up, the surfing is great. The higher the flow, the better the surfing! The main two hazards are riverwide ledges at First Island and Annistown Bridge.

Yellow River - An underutilized section of river. Easy bike shuttle for a quick fix during low-water season and a wild triple-boof creek line at high water when wood isn’t a complicating factor. A beautiful run-out and a nice surf wave or two above the takeout.
