Paddling on the Waterford River

Waterford River - After a good 10 mm rainfall, or in the wet seasons, this is a phenomenal route for beginners looking for some easy safe drops. Park and huck a 10 footer upriver from the main run. One portage halfway through the park. Through the duck pond and onward to downtown St. Johns. Check clearance under the bridges during flood conditions otherwise good to go. Once in a blue moon wood hazards appear near the put in so heads up theres a big Eddy above the area in question you have loads of time to scout from the water..
