Tustumena Lake - There are few motor boats and no kayakers on this lake. Paddling here has a wilderness feeling unlike the other lakes on the Kenai Peninsula. There are several scenic day hikes accessible from the lake plus a hike to the Tustumena glacier. The lake attracts swans, cormorants, and nesting bald eagles. The colors are beautiful in the fall. The lake has over 20 miles of fetch and can have execrating/terrifying waves.
