Gorge Park
Tillicum Narrows - Tillicum Narrows is basically a 20m long wave train that works best with an RPM type boat (ie. long and slicey). At certain flows (around -4 knots) it has a wave that works for both side and front surfing. At flows greater than +/-1 knot it works for attainments and stern squirts. I'd rate it class 2, but watch out for submerged rocks especially at higher flows. It gets enough light for night sessions. You can get easy access to accurate tide forecasts for the next week here: http://www.bigwavedave.ca/Tides2/Gorge%20Tillicum.php. It's not skooks, but it's 1000x more fun than the gym. PS say hi to the seal that hangs out in the outflow if you see it, I think it likes kayakers.
