Paddling on the Stikine River

Stikine River - One of greatest test piece for any class 5+ big water paddlers. The Grand Canyon of the Stikine is know as the Everest of kayaking, many paddlers travel from around the globe to paddle epic class 5+ trip. Most people will take their time and paddle it in 3 days, some push the boundaries of the sport and accomplished two full descents in day (Ben Marr, Aniol Serrasolses and Gerd Serrasolses). The first descent of the Grand Canyon of the Stikine River in 1981, led by Rob Lesser with Don Banducci, Lars Holbek, Rick Fernald and John Wasson. Please see map for campsites and rapids. Caution - Due to poor map imagery, some location could not be accurately located. Will get GPS co-ordinates in the future.
