Catawba Run Rd to McAdenville Dam
South Fork Catawba River - Runs low in the summer. Bumps after rain. Chill quick, local to Charlotte, NC run. Great attainment practice. Some small surfs as the level goes up. The river only gets better as the level increases. A good intro to whitewater river. Small rapids and shoals throughout. Plenty of flat water in between.
