Trips and Routes

Mabel lake to Enderby
Shuswap River - Most of this river section is used as a summer time float. There are about a mile of rapids just after the outlet from Mabel lake into the Shuswap River. It's mostly floating or class I after that.
The Chucks and beyond
Shuswap River - "The Chucks" is a short stretch of Whitewater with pools between each rapid and a trail to scout each section. Below the chucks is a grade 2 - section of river with many take out options.
Upper Shuswap
Shuswap River - This is a secluded low volume class 2 river run through a scenic forested valley. The outflow is into Sugar Lake. You must paddle a couple km across the lake to the rec site to take out. Its got some pretty fast sections and some slower bends with log jams in play.
