Salmon River - Special thanks to Gwen and other KWP members for helping update this descriptions. (currently looking for low medium and high flow pictures/video to add)
The Salmon River is one of the earliest rivers in the area that becomes ice free, and usually the flows last the longest on this river. It is known to be a less demanding run then some of the other Hwy #7 runs. The levels range, with no maximum flow. Known hazards are potential for downed trees, rocks when the level is under 22 on the gauge, and the low bridge just after the takeout.
