Rockwood - Gate admission to Rockwood Conservation Area is required to launch here. Launch at the ruins of the woolen mill, and paddle under a waterfall, then explore the rest of this small lake with its islands and caves. While it is home to many Canadian Geese, and can have algae bloom in the summer, spring and fall are ideal times to spot cliff swallows, great blue herons, and other waterfowl. The conservation area offers camping and hiking. Rentals are also available.
