Paddling on the Ram River

Ram River - Long scenic run in deep canyons with excellent camping. Typically done as an overnight trip but has been done in one long day or up to three days. This is a long challenging section of remote paddling. It really is a classic multi day Alberta whitewater paddling trip. Lots of whitewater, amazing camping and epic rockies scenery. Be aware that there there are some big falls and portages on this run, they sneak up on you too. So, be alert and make sure to scout and take your time. Best done as a 3 day trip, though has been done in 1 or 2 days.
