Hike In
Ottertail River - A continuous boulder garden run that moves along quickly and has a couple of likely portages due to wood. In the initial stages there are a couple of pretty permanent log jams and logs across the river. Be aware of this and be ready to portage. After this there is a stretch of awesome class 3-4 boulder gardens until you reach cyclotron where a rock slide has created a pretty sticky hole, directly after cyclotron there is a class 4 boulder garden followed by a class 3- 4 drop named Bubbas. Bubbas is characterized by a large midstream rock and has a small ledge that can become quite sticky at higher flows. After this these rapids keep your head up as there will be more log jams to portage. Class III boulder boogie to the takeout from there.
