Muir Lake - This small lake is narrow and sheltered and was great for bird watching when we were there in mid-May. There's a small island that would be difficult to land on without getting attacked by geese, but there's a small grassy area on the southeast end of the lake that would make a good lunch spot. Around 6pm, we started seeing a ton of small fish leaping out of the water to catch bugs. We saw lots of people fishing from the shore and from boats, but I don't think anyone caught anything.
