Paddling on the Mill Bay

Mill Bay - Nice little Park'n'huck for locals or folks passing through the area during winter rain events. There are 3 rapids, first one being a small 15 ramping drop, second and third rapids being 40 foot slides. This run has the typical Vancouver Island rock, very janky and sharp, more water the better but be warned the first slide can develop a nasty hole at the bottom but you're usually going warp-speed when you hit it thought. There is no gauge, only visual so most boaters will stop by and have a peak a flows on their way to the more popular runs in the area. Have fun and don't forget to smile for the camera!
