Upper Little Slocan
Little Slocan River - The Little Slocan is a great introduction to class II/III continuous whitewater boulder gardens. Most local paddlers learning in the area choose this run after mastering the lower Slocan to introduce creeking style practice. The run is short and often done in laps to justify the length of travel to the river. You can run the first 2.5 km and rally back up to the put in or decide on the longer 8km section to the confluence of the Slocan River but keep in mind after the first 3 km the river starts to braid and present log jams.
