Lacombe Lake Public Access
Lacombe Lake - This is an overlooked gem for local paddlers only 5 minutes south of Lacombe, or 15 minutes north of Red Deer. Abundant waterfowl, interesting shorelines, free public access and free of outboard motors. The fastest boat on the lake will be 8 person rowing shell from the Central Alberta Rowing Club.
This outing is perfect for 1-3 hours of quiet paddling. Opportunities for paddling, bird watching, or even walking on the Trans-Canada trail are available.
