Trips and Routes

Pisew Falls - Paint Lake
Grass River - Mostly flat water with two ~1km portages and two 50m portages. Both of the longer portages are mandatory. With swiftwater sections before two of the portages, it's useful to know the basics of eddying in and out. Campsites are all on islands, and while unmarked, are generally easy to spot, except for the last one. Can be done in 48 hours, but more pleasant if given 72. The first day will take you passed Kwasitchewan Falls, and the island campsite has a great view of them.
Lampsons Falls to Downerville
Grass River - A pool drop river stretch with technical difficulty landing as a step up from Taylorville of the Beaver. No mandatory drops and everything is scoutable
Twins Falls
Grass River - Classic Adirondack Pool Drop character. This stretch can dish out a beating but is considered the best section of the Grass!
Woods Bridge Rd to Route 47
Grass River - Remote stretch of the Grass. Pretty but not run often
Tracy Brook to Clare Rd
Grass River - Great start to this stretch for a few boat scoutable slides. After this some smaller whitewater for a while before picking up to some class V slides that look junky. Continues down to the lower stretch which is mostly class 3 the entire time
