Paddling on the Ghost River

Ghost River - The Ghost River is a scenic run in the bottom of a beautiful foothills valley. Rapids are created by small boulder gardens, walls and small broken ledges. There are great eddylines for working on skills, fun wave trains and eddy accessible small surf waves all the way down.

Ghost River - Class 2 section runnable when everything else is high. The river is pretty wide, the waves are mostly created by walls and small broken ledges. Run has a few fallen trees on the side of the river which could make a potential hazard for beginner paddlers. Overall, the run has very similar characteristic to the Lower Kananaskis section.
