Trips and Routes

Killareny/Britt
Georgian bay - This trip plan highlights a 9 day trip from Britt to Killarney. Expect ocean-like conditions and weather and tons of fog in the early mornings. Watch for bugs and snakes
Franklin, Mink and McCoy
Georgian Bay - Any sea kayaker who lives in Ontario, has either paddled to Franklin Island, or has it on their list of places to visit. There are three island groups in this trip and each of them is far more than you could explore in a single weekend. When I make return trips to the area, it would be fun to see each of the areas in more detail. http://kayak-ontario.com/franklin-mink-and-mccoy-islands-carling/
Ice Cream on the Rocks
Georgian Bay - This iconic launch spot for kayakers offers parking and access to Eastern Georgian Bay. The added bonus? It's also an awesome Ice Cream Shop. You can use this spot to access the French River Delta and the Bustard Islands.
Chikanishing Trail
Georgian Bay - Chikanishing Trail is the launch site to access Phillip Edward Island, the Fox and the Hawk Island groups. This is the most iconic sea kayaking trip in Ontario. The island clusters, vast backcountry and amazing dolomite cliffs make for some of the most scenery in the country. All of the sites are backcountry on the west side of P.E.I.
Owen Sound West Harvour
Georgian bay - I am leaving from Owen Sound and paddling through Georgian Bay to Port Severn then through the locks to Peterborough.
Whitefish First Nation Boat Launch
Georgian Bay - This trip offers a great verity of water and camping options
