Letchworth Gorge (Lee's Landing to St. Helena)
Genesee River - The 'Grand Canyon of the East.' Within the gorge, the Genesee River is class II run at low levels (9.0 feet) but becomes a class III river with great surfing opportunities at higher water (stage 10.5 feet)
Lower Falls to Seth Green Island
Genesee River - This may be one of the only sections of whitewater in Rochester that is runnable all year long. At lower levels it has a small surf wave and some mid river eddies you can attain up through. Mostly just a practice place if you want to stay in tune with your boat between the rains.
