Paddling on the Cultus Lake

Cultus Lake - A pretty little lake surrounded by steep coastal mountains. There are a number of launches for the lake, the provincial park one listed here is a bit quieter than some of the others closer to town. Though on busy summer days best to get there early as the parking lot quickly fills with beach goers. Be aware that motorized traffic is allowed on this lake so make sure you are visible and be aware of your fellow lake users. Early mornings are a great way to avoid the motorized crowd. If you do a full circumnavigation for the lake it is approximately 12.1kms of paddling.
