Upper Cross
Cross River - Steep continuous creek with tight must run canyon drops and a clean 20ft waterfall. It is extremely picturesque with cool quartz bedrock features. Scouting recommended for all drops and wood concern. three mandatory portages to note. first portage around a log jam before you enter the canyon, second one in the canyon requires a seal launch back in off a sloped rock, this portage is runnable at high water. third portage at the end of the canyon around some more logs.
