Cootes Paradise - This is a small and sheltered marsh on the shores of Lake Ontario. Surrounded by RBG lands, this is a great spot for birdwatching, and many species including bald eagles, egrets, herons, cormorants, and other waterfowl are regularly spotted. The reservoir can be quite choppy on windy days, and may be muddy or shallow in the fall, but fall can be a great time to watch for migratory birds.
