Columbia River Playspots - Trail Wave and Hero Hole are a playboaters dream. Every spring (end of March/April) and fall (end of September/October) The Columbia River is lowered bringing out awesome play features at Rock Island Trail. Trail wave can range from a green wave supporting up to 5 surfers to a more steep hole with a foam pile. Hero Hole is named as such given the automatic slew of tricks paddlers experience in the feature whether in control or otherwise. Trail Wave Hero Hole 800 to 1300 cms. One Shot wave 2200 to 2800 cms The Stacks 2200 to 2800 cms. Industrial Hole 3600 cms. and up
