Buffalo National River - If you only have time for one float trip this year, this is the one you should take. At medium flow rate this is a Class I with some Class II elements. This section of the Buffalo offers spectacular scenery, towering bluffs, and access to Hemmed-In-Hollow, the tallest waterfall between the Appalachians and Rockies. On week-ends during the peak season, it can be crowded; so consider making a midweek or off-peak season float to fully appreciate the beauty.
